This morning, our friends at Twin Cities Sports Cards made the following post about rumors circulating that they are closing their store. Please be assured that those rumors are NOT true and that Twin Cities Sports Cards is open for business as usual. Rob is one of the nicest people I’ve met in the hobby here locally and I’m a fan of their shop and card shows. They are located in Golden Valley right off 169 and you can find the current hours on their website.
We have heard that the famous Mark Twain quote “reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated” is now applicable to our store ! For a few weeks now , friends have been coming to tell that they have heard that we are closing or perhaps moving. At our recent May 3rd card show that we sponsor at King of Grace, many people came up to our table and also asked the same questions. At first, we assured everyone this is not the case. We are a thriving LCS and anyone who knows us, knows that you will not find two more passionate people about the hobby than Rob and Sam. We laughed it off and said we wonder how on earth these rumors got started.
We now have had material impact to our business from these unfounded rumors .
We are here to publicly state we have been in Golden Valley for over 12 years and plan to be here for 12 more . We are passionate about the service, product and most importantly, being good ambassadors for the hobby.
As the picture above shows , we are still at 2510 Hillsboro Ave N in Golden Valley, open for business and as passionate as ever .
If you do hear rumors about our store closing or about us moving, we would greatly appreciate if you would call Rob or Sam and let them know. But probably more importantly, is to feel very confident that you can shut those rumors down as the lies they are.
