The Coulee Region Card Show was held at the Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska, WI, drawing collectors from across the area. The show featured 70 tables offering a wide range of sports cards and TCG, continuing its reputation as a staple event in the La Crosse card-collecting community.
Of the 70 tables, about 70% were dedicated to modern sports cards, 25% featured TCG products, and about 5% showcased vintage sports cards. Attendees had the chance to see several standout pieces, including a Ken Griffey Jr. autograph numbered to five from Topps Museum Collection, an SGC 5.5 graded 1959 Topps Mickey Mantle, and a Panini Playbook triple-patch multicolor booklet featuring Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes. One of the most notable cards on display was a 1998 Skybox Dunk’n Go-Nuts Michael Jordan graded PSA 8, valued at approximately $8,500.
The TCG section was largely focused on modern Pokémon cards, though there was a respectable amount of vintage cards available. Modern sports tables offered a strong variety of players and sports, with autographed cards being especially prevalent throughout the show.
Personal pickups included the Empoleon V Alternate Art from Battle Styles and the Full Art Tyranitar from Ancient Origins. Overall, the event proved to be another successful showing for the Coulee Region Card Show, which continues to maintain steady attendance and positive outcomes for both vendors and collectors alike.
